Smokin' Chipotle Barbeque Shrimp

Chipolte BBQ Shrimp for Appetizers

  

Shrimp

  • Preheat skillet to medium heat and add olive oil (shrimp cook very quickly). Wash shrimp, pat dry, and sprinkle with my Hooked Up Fish Seasoning. Saute shrimp quickly, just enough for color but not cooked completely.  Overcooked shrimp may become tough. Remove shrimp from heat and set aside in a small bowl.


  •  Slice baguette into ½ inch slices, drizzle olive oil on both sides of, and toast in oven. or on the side of your Disc-it .


  • Reduce heat on skillet  to medium low, add 2 Tbs of olive oil, onions, garlic, and saute mixture for 2 minutes, add wine, half and half, and Worcestershire  and simmer for 5 minutes.


  • In a small bowl add 2 tbs of corn starch and half a cup of water. Stir mixture until corn starch has dissolved and add to sauce and simmer for an additional 2 to 3 minutes to allow mixture to thicken. Add shrimp and simmer for 2 minutes or until shrimp are cooked through. Remove from heat. and serve on toasted baguette.

1/8 Cup minced onions

2 Tbs. Minced garlic

3 Tbs Olive oil

1/4 Cup Half and half

3/4 Cup White wine

4 Dashes Worcestershire sauce


2 Tbs Corn Starch


1 Lemon

4 Tbs Big Lick Chipotle BBQ Sauce


1 Baguette 

  • Large Skillet Or Disc-It
